Clients we serve

CDG is proud to provide healthcare architectural design services to a wide variety of healthcare clients in the Florida market. We practice a ‘narrow but deep’ business philosophy. That is, we look to build lasting relationships with a small group of clients and once engaged, provide excellent service such that we are a mainstay on their campuses.

This philosophy has lead CDG to have deep and lasting relationships with Clients who look to the CDG Team to provide continuing services on many projects. The Clients below represent continued, valued relationships.

We work collaboratively with AHCA.  Our process includes speaking with AHCA formally and informally as projects are being developed.  This includes members of the appropriate AHCA team as questions or areas of interpretation are discovered.

Further, when project goals push known boundaries, we elevate discussions to the appropriate AHCA supervisor. Our goal is to pass the various AHCA reviews the first time every time!  This occurs when we do not surprise AHCA during reviews or on-site inspections.  We will leverage our relationships to help ensure your project runs smoothly.

For example, on most small projects, we have been successful in requesting - and receiving - a stage 3 stand-up review in lieu of a stage 3 mail-in review. In some instances we have been successful in obtaining a Desk Review (now called a CRA ). This is critical in project scheduling as mail-in reviews typically run 45-60 days for a response from the time the Agency receives the submission. This period can be significantly reduced or eliminated if the project development is scheduled to coincide with a stand-up review week.

AHCA EXPERIENCE

CDG has a great understanding of the Florida market, including AHCA requirements and all associated National and Florida Building Code requirements. This experience has allowed us to successfully obtain permits for projects throughout Florida.

Our documents are thorough, including identifying NOA numbers and other pertinent permitting information so the local jurisdiction is not required to ‘hunt’  for the information in the contract document set.  We prepare our contract documents knowing AHCA likes to see specific information and drawings including specific UL details and specific life safety information.

Hover over any map point for details about that project.
