Lake Wales Medical Center requested design and construction phase services of the CDG Team for the CT Equipment Replacement project.

The existing room was upgraded with new finishes focusing on updated lighting to keep down light away from patient eyes as well as applying the latest Hospital finish standards.

The design Team was also directed to change out water cooled equipment and exchange it with air cooled.  This necessitated the modification of the existing air handling equipment as well as correcting previously installed mechanical work.

Finally,  the hand washing sink was relocated to allow for better flow for staff within the room helping to lower the risk of contact infection.
