DMC INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY SUITE, Delray Beach, Florida

Project Details

Square Footage:

550 sqft

Responsibility:

design and construction

phase services, equipment coordination

Delray Medical Center wanted to expand

their existing radiology services with the

design and construction of an interventional radiology suite.

Interventional radiology represents the

next phase of development between the

merger of pure radiology and invasive

procedures. To that end, this new program

required the design and construction

of a cath lab-type space including

low return air, increased air flow within

the room and a higher level of finishes.

Additionally, over time, the existing radiology suite had been altered significantly. These alterations had absorbed the functionally required environmental services room.

To deliver a compliant project, the design and construction of a new environmental services closet was added to the project’ scope.
