Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center requested CDG to provide design and construction phase services for the installation of vendor booms into the existing OR 5 space. The booms, when installed, will allow the utilities to be more neatly stored and delivered to increase patients care and staff member efficiency. Additionally, the booms proved to be too heavy for the existing structure. Therefore, this project include the design and construction of tube steel frames to support the new booms to accommodate their dead load as well as any potential drift due to sagging.
